It's going to sound like you're being asked to impose a retirement age for the first time, but don't be fooled! Leslie Acosta of the 197th District is rebuffing calls from two of her party's highest-ranking elected officials to resign, in the wake of an Inquirer report that she quietly plead guilty to a federal felony charge last winter.Congressman Bob Brady, head of the Democratic City Committee, and Governor Tom Wolf issued statements publicly calling on Acosta to resign this week, but this afternoon she said she plans to press on with her reelection campaign.  Continue reading

Last Thursday, Latinos for Trump co-founder Marco Gutierrez delighted the Internet when he warned darkly that if Donald Trump loses the election, there'll be a taco truck on every corner."My culture is a very dominant culture,” Gutierrez told MSNBC, "It is imposing and it’s causing problems.
