Pledge to Vote in the May 16th Election!

There are just 3 more weeks until Philly's May 16th primary elections for District Attorney, Controller, and numerous judicial seats.

Voters will be choosing a new direction (or not) for the city on some critically important and hotly-debated issues like criminal justice reform, police accountability, and Philly's fiscal fitness.

This election will take place within a super-charged environment for political engagement, specifically around the kinds of rights and justice issues that the District Attorney election will directly decide.

But in spite of all this, most political experts are cynically betting that turnout on May 16th will be as low as ever.

In 2013, turnout for the District Attorney race was just 7%, and in a typical DA primary, as few as 1 in 8 eligible voters show up to vote.

Let's prove the cynics wrong.

Take the pledge to vote in the May 16th elections below, then share your pledge on social media to encourage your friends and family members to do the same.

We made a few graphics you can share to remind people why eight is always better than one—for pizza, for octopuses, and for Philly elections.
